The Active Duty Recreation Center (ADRC) is open 365 days a year to active duty enlisted service members who are stationed at, and visiting MCAS Miramar. It features: six Olhausen tournament size billiard tables, an arcade with interactive game systems (including X-Box ONE, X- Box 360, PS 4, PS 3, Wii U, and the classics Game Cube and Nintendo 64) four computers with CAC readers and a printer, two ping pong tables, two large lounge areas with 75” televisions, five 46” televisions mounted throughout the facility, all the televisions are connected to DirecTV, game tables are ready to be used for board games, poker, black jack or Texas Hold ’Em, a foosball table, air hockey, a quiet area, an eating area with microwaves. Our movie room features a 132” screen and projector, surround sound, 14 leather recliners and four oversize bean bag chairs. There is a full sized kitchen with 4 burn top stove, 3’ grill top, 4 ovens, 2 microwaves, basic cooking and baking equipment and utensils, crockpots, rice cookers, mixer and a blender. There is an extensive spice drawer to add flavor to any meal. The kitchen is open for cooking 1100 – 1830 everyday (unless there is a special event scheduled in the area). Reservations are highly recommended.

The ADRC has a movie library (movies are part of the Navy Motion Picture Services movie program) with over 800 titles, including new release and classic movies. The facility hosts a variety of daily, weekly and monthly activities including: Friday and Saturday Night billiards tournaments, video game, ping pong, air hockey and foosball tournaments, BBQs, ice cream socials and special events.

Just outside of this venue's front door is a sand volleyball court, a full-size basketball court, pull up bars and functional fitness equipment. The newest addition to the facility is out outdoor patio featuring a gas grill and gas fire pit. There is plenty of space to kick back and relax. There is even electrical outlets and USB ports to charge your phone. Reservations are required.

The facility is adjacent to Domino’s and is the home of the Single Marine Program.
