Where to Buy and Enjoy Coffee on Base
Looking to take a coffee break but don’t know where to start? Here is a list of the seven locations on base for you to buy coffee and four locations for you visit to enjoy your coffee.

4 Locations to Enjoy your Coffee
- Fish Pond The MCAS Miramar Fish Pond has a dock that is surrounded by wildlife and scenic views. If you want to fish, a fishing permit is available at no cost. You can visit PARC to obtain your fishing permit. This location is catch-and-release only and PARC also offers fishing equipment to rent at an affordable costs.
- Mills Park Mills Park is located close to Starbucks and Palms Park and offers a setting for softball, basketball, and horseshoes. There is also shaded seating and cook-out stations. Mills Park also has a track with exercise stations, swings, a jungle gym, and lighted tennis courts. Close to the park are aircraft static displays too. - Palms Park Palms Park, which is located next to the Bob Hope Theater, has palm trees, chairs and tables for you to sip on your coffee. It is located in a central location and is close to Starbucks. This location also holds a few of MCCS’s signature events, including Trunk-or-Treat and our annual Holiday Celebration.
- MCX Food Court The MCX Food Court also offers seating, both inside and outside. It’s a popular place to eat during lunch and if you and there are plenty of options for food as well, if you decide you want more to sip on.
