The Warrior Athlete Readiness and Resilience (WARR) Program aboard MCAS Miramar is the Marine Corps’ integrated human-performance system designed to enhance operational readiness, reduce preventable injuries, and build resilient, mission-ready Marines. Grounded in the principles of Marine Corps Total Fitness (MCTF), WARR develops the whole Marine by integrating the Physical, Mental, Social, and Spiritual domains of fitness to support performance, recovery, and long-term health throughout every stage of a Marine’s career.

Using evidence-based performance training and human-performance science, WARR prepares Marines to train effectively, fight decisively, recover efficiently, and sustain peak readiness in both operational and garrison environments. MCAS Miramar delivers a comprehensive performance pathway through Strength and Conditioning, Tactical Training, Injury Prevention and Recovery, Nutrition and Health Education, and Physical Readiness programming ensuring Marines remain strong, capable, and mission-focused.
