MCCS Miramar Invests in its Employees

Training at Miramar

The MCCS Miramar Employee Training and Development Program Administrator, Dr. Jonathan González, believes a good training plan has many benefits. He regularly reviews the training offered to make them reflect MCCS values, enhance innovative thinking, increase job satisfaction, improve productivity, and lower turnover rates.

"Employees are looking for training and development," said González. "An opportunity to grow professionally and personally."

Training at MCCS Miramar includes the New Employee Orientation, 'Four Lenses', well-being, leadership, and supervisory training. All employees set up to five goals for themselves with their supervisor annually over a variety of areas such as growth. Additionally, there are a variety of benefits such as tax-free shopping, financial advice or classes, tuition assistance, and more.

Award

Today’s employee wants to grow. The APEX award recognizes a continued focus on the training and development of our employees. The ranking system uses many factors such as the total training budget, the scope of training programs provided, and business outcomes resulting from training.
