EFMP Story Time
Beginning February 10th, EFMP will host a Story Time at the Camp Foster Library at 1100. This event will take place immediately following the EDIS & EFMP Partner’s in Play event from 0930–1030, making it a seamless and engaging morning for families.
EFMP Story Time is designed to provide a sensory-friendly, interactive, and welcoming environment for children of all ages and abilities. Story time can be especially beneficial because it supports language development, social skills, emotional regulation, and listening skills in a low-pressure setting. By incorporating movement, hands-on participation, and predictable routines, children can stay engaged while also meeting their sensory needs and building confidence.
Our goal is to create a space where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to participate at their own comfort level whether that means listening quietly, moving along with the story, or engaging through play. This inclusive approach helps children practice focus, self-expression, and social interaction in a fun and positive way.
